What time of day is best to microdose?

I sleep like a little baby when I micro.
The other day I woke up 05 in the morning an couldn't really find peace again. It was my microdosing day also, so I decided to take it there, and go lay down again. I feel so relax and "lighter" so I actually ended up going back to sleep, and I got myself 4 more hours after that! Haha. I was hyped, because usualy, when I'm up, I find it hard to sleep again.
My other microdosing days - I took em all around breakfast, works fine too.. But in the end, I think you should try it out, and find out what works best for you. 😁

Sounds like different things work for different people.
Day 1 - 0,2 g
Day 2 off
Day 3 off
Day 4 0,2 g
Then 0,2 g. And you get it right? 🤣😁😁
About the grams. It's again what you feel like. I take 0,26g now, and I'm not playing to go higher or lower, this is my microdosing sweet spot😁

I find 0.14 is too high for me 0.1 is my sweet spot. See what works for you
Thanks for sharing! Do you actually notice a difference between 0.10 and 0.14? I assumed that would be sub-perceptual until you get closer to 1g?
Nah if you microdose too high you can definitely feel an effect. Even though it is very small, a microdose you are supposed to feel very small sub perceptual benefits. When i take 0.14 i feel very slightly high, i will laugh more easily and such, you are definitely still very functional, but its a little too high for a normal microdose for me. It depends on what you are looking for too, if you want a more therapeutic dose it can be good to do it a little higher, and just collect your thoughts. But most of the time you don’t wanna feel the high at all, a true microdose you just feel a little more mindful/conscious
ah yes, thats what i just experienced tonight with 0.15! I was super happy and laughing and just didnt care, it was awesome! So, may be half next time....how often would you recommend it at that strength (0.15) that we both find the littlest it too high? I know in the past, when i have done proper doses (1-4g) you are supposed to wait 10 days plus between trips, otherwise you wont feel it.
o you feel this would be true as well with a smaller does, that i felt ,like tonight,a t 0.14? I just dont want to do the normal protocol of MDing if it wont do anything beneficial as its "too soon"

Its hard to say specifically as there is lacking research, and i don’t know all the information. Just use your common sense. Listen to your body and if you feel like you are overdoing it then slow down, I usually do it every 3 days. Doing a slightly higher dose than normal every once in a while probably doesn’t hurt much. You can get more precise answers somewhere on the internet if you search for it.
But i would recommend trying 0.1, usually even 0.125 can be a little too much for me. But 0.1 i forget i have taken the microdose
Keep in mind i do it with an empty stomach, and everyone has different sensitivity
I dose 0.33g and my wife is 0.15g

I'm my opinion, right when you wake up. Reason for this is because many of our behaviors are influenced by anxiety, which is triggered by many things throughout our day.
Many of our eating patterns are influenced by anxiety. Therefore, if you're feeling good, you'll be less likely to stress/anxiety eat. It'll mitigate your appetite, and hopefully you'll eat better and eat less.
That's only one factor. There's multiple things that micro dosing when you wake up can do for you.
Btw, I'm dosing .50 PE now. That's an unusual amount, it's just what I like and prefer. It gets me juiced up, and I like a nice intense day with hyper awareness.
I also take many supplements and eat healthy to increase my effectivity and to clean my system.
may i ask what PE means? (sorry!) as in half a g?
PE is a mushroom variety called penis envy. Supposed to be stronger than most others. And yes, half a g. Lol

I've gone nothing but time! Lol :) Where i am , we are in full-on lockdown. Eyeroll. EYEROLL. Just another part of the reason for wanting to MD to get through this weird life we are all enduring right now. :)
Ball of anxiety here, when I micro-dose before sleeping I wake up very well rested compared to when I don't.
That alone helps me have a less anxious day.
Micro-dose the morning is also a good idea, however I like to seek positiveness the first hours of the micro-dose, it sets a great general mood for the day thus making it less a hassle to deal with anxiety.
Edit: it's trial and error, and it's unique for everyone, try different times, etc and you'll find your own rhythm.
This is a wonderful response, thankyou! I am starting tonight, and already since dosing feel like i generally dont give a flying f\*ck about anything which OMG i need!!! (I mean, dont we all right now?!?!) So given i already feel great, i will take a couple of days off before the next dose.

It's soothing isn't it? I remember that feeling being amplified when I took a real macro dose, I was like "Life is meaningless. Omg, life is meaningless!" It didn't feel worrisome and anxiety-inducing as usual, it was quite the opposite actually, a huge relief. I felt free and alive for the first time since forever.
A couple days is great, it allows your body to reset and your mind to process what's been happening in your subconscious.
I did between 0.15g and 0.25g one day on, one day off over the span of a few months, I'm in therapy so I had a safe place to open the valves. Then I slowly allowed bigger intervals between doses to finally end up taking my micro-dose when I felt like it . No specific protocol, just when I didn't feel like it I didn't took it.
Right now I'm taking a break, it allows me to fully sober up and observe where I am mentally, take a few steps back. It also allows me to grow my mushrooms, dry them and weigh them so I can see how long I can micro-dose and plan the next growth.
I also highly recommend taking a normal dose, it's a wonderful experience, it shows you the power and potential of mushies and it gives you a better perspective on what to look for in terms of effects.
I quit smoking weed (I was a very heavy user) after that trip and it completely changed my relationship to alcohol.
If you do take a normal dose, do it in a safe place with people you trust and have already taken shrooms (preferably but if not, it's not too important). Being not far from nature is great because it recenters you and gives you a wonderful sense of connection to everything.

You're spot on about that. Antidepressants, anxiolytic drugs, etc... treat the symptoms, not the main problem that's causing them, that can be negative, even dangerous and in the end it doesn't help. Quite the opposite actually.
However mushrooms are not a miracle medicine, there are going to be bad days as well as good days. They help *a lot* but for the most part, you're the one that's going to do all the hard work.

I guess we are all here to heal and we (for the most part) understand what it's like to be going through tough stuff, what's toxic behaviour, etc... None of us wants to deal with that shit and that pushes us to be more empathetic, less judgemental.
I also feel that, to be interested in long time criminalised and stigmatised drugs, we gotta have some sort of basic mind-openness already. Idk that's my guess.

I personally dose in the morning, I find my energy is much better then. My wife doses at night before bed. She says it helps her not have restless dreams and she wakes up refreshed
I find psilocybin to be very relaxing (whereas LSD messed with my sleep), I didn't mind taking it in the evening and would sleep fine. Everybody is different so you should experiment and see how you feel :)
