window seat doesnt get any
you put your feet on the seat and use your knees as arm rests
Middle seat gets both interior arm rests because they have no extra perks. The window seat has the window which is great to lean against to nap or just ponder out of while the outside seat gets bathroom access and their own arm rest.
Honestly, doesn't even matter if the flight is shorter than 6 hours.
I always point my elbows and bring them close to my body, that way I only take a bit of the arm rest and then there is room for the other person.
I always make sure to book the aisle seat though.

But anyway, each seat has a button on its armrest to recline its seat. If the button doesn't move your seat then it isn't your armrest.
